【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverscriticalcharacteristicsoflowvelocityresilientmaterialprojectiles(hereinreferredtoasLVRMprojectiles)madeofaresilientmaterial,andshallhaveadiameternosmallerthan20mm(0.7874in)andnogreaterthan30mm(1.18in.),withahardnessnogreaterthan75Shore00inaccordancewithSpecificationD2240.Thisspecificationhelpsdefinewhetheraprojectileissuitableforusewithalowvelocityprojectilemarker(hereinreferredtoasLVPmarkerasdefinedinSpecificationF2574).TheweightoftheLVRMprojectileisnottoexceed4.0g.Furthermore,thisspecificationestablishesminimumwarningandpackagelabelingtohelpensurethattheLVRMprojectilesareusedinasafemannerandthattheriskofinjuryisreduced.ALVRMprojectileisnotapaintballasdefinedinSection2.1.2ofSpecificationF1979.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
